Migraine · with Reveri

Hypnosis for migraine.

Migraine has a warning phase, and that is where hypnosis works best. Dr. Spiegel's AI helps you catch it early and turn the volume down.

About ten minutes. Alongside your treatment, not instead of it.

If this is you

Migraine is a brain event. So is relief.

Pain, light and sound sensitivity, nausea, fog, often with little warning. His approaches to pain, chosen by how you respond: a cool numbness that filters the hurt out, floating away from the body, turning the volume down, going somewhere else.

When to use it

Early, during, and after.

1

At the first signs

The warning phase: a change in vision, mood or energy before the pain. A session here aims to keep the attack from building.

2

As it passes

After an attack the nervous system is still raw. A session helps you recover rather than brace for the next one.

3

Before bed, and in overwhelm

Stress and poor sleep are common triggers. Two or three sessions a day for a week builds the habit; then use it when you need it.

Breathing

Five minutes of breath, on the worst days.

Cyclic sighing is two inhales through the nose and one long exhale through the mouth. In a study by Dr. Spiegel and Andrew Huberman, five minutes a day of it beat mindfulness meditation for mood and breathing rate.

Questions

Straight answers.

Can hypnosis help with migraine?

Hypnosis is one of the best-studied drug-free approaches to pain, with clinical trials showing reductions of roughly 30 to 42% for acute and chronic pain. For migraine it is something to add to your treatment, used early in an attack and in the hours after.

When should I use it?

At the first signs of an attack, before the pain peaks. Again as it passes, and before bed or in moments of overwhelm. Two or three times a day for a week is a good way to start.

Does it replace my migraine medication?

No. Keep the treatment your doctor prescribes. Many members use Reveri alongside it; any change to medication is a conversation to have with your doctor.

Can it make attacks less frequent?

Many people use it daily to manage stress and sleep, two common migraine triggers. Whether it changes how often you get attacks varies from person to person, so track it and share it with your doctor.

How long is a session?

About ten minutes. You rate your pain before and after, so you know whether it worked for you.
